In July 2017, Square Enix released Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, a high-definition remaster of the Japanese-only International Zodiac Job System for the PlayStation 4. It adds trophy support, a remastered soundtrack with a few new tracks, and improved technical performance.

As mentioned in the introduction, IZJS is an expansion of the original game; something of a director's cut. Its main new feature is the addition of twelve job classes, each of which come with a license board. Once you pick one, that's it for the entire game. You can't change it.
The game still uses a turn-based combat but it is dramatically different and more active then the older system. Instead of loading a turn-based combat screen for every battle, FF XII chose to have enemies roam the world freely and have the player engage them whenever they want to.
Vaan (Japanese: ヴァン, Hepburn: Van) is a character in the Final Fantasy series from Square Enix. Created by Yasumi Matsuno and designed by Akihiko Yoshida, he first appeared in Itadaki Street Special and then appeared in Final Fantasy XII as the protagonist.
