The flowering cactoid is to be found in the Yardang Labyrinth in the Dalmasca Estersand.

Now head to the Estersand through the Eastgate. Here, head south to the lower area, past the Wild Saurian (but do not provoke it or it's chomp chomp GG time) and then west to a small area border. You'll end up at the Outpost; pass through to reach Yardang Labyrinth.
On higher levels the best spots are Crossover C area in Henne Mines, where a group of bat will drop down whenever you press a switch (once they are all killed you must go two zones away and come back again). Each bat drops about 3K experience, so with Embroidered Tippet you'll level up very quickly.
Once you gain control of your character again, you can run up to the house on the west side of the village near the water, where you'll find Dantro's wife standing in the doorway. Talk to her to find out what she did with the flower you gave her following the hunt.
