When you're back in this room, seek out the stairs on the west side of the room and go down them. The door at the bottom will now be open, and you can now proceed through it into a new area. In this new area, head forward and kill both Miriam Guardians in the room.
Using an in-game map should never get you lost once you have a complete one. Anyway, take the south-west exit from Frozen Brook to go through Path of the Firstfall and on eventually to the Stillshrine.
