The game was originally released as a PlayStation 2 exclusive, but in the past few years, a remaster called, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age launched on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC with performance enhancements, deeper job customization, and various quality-of-life changes.
Acquiring this coveted weapon isn't easy, though. Players can get the Zodiac Spear by trying to steal them from the Biding Mantis in Stage 62 of Trial Mode, albeit with a 3% success rate. Players can also equip a Diamond Armlet and try their luck in the Henne Mines, or even buy it for maximum Gil.
The game still uses a turn-based combat but it is dramatically different and more active then the older system. Instead of loading a turn-based combat screen for every battle, FF XII chose to have enemies roam the world freely and have the player engage them whenever they want to.
