On higher levels the best spots are Crossover C area in Henne Mines, where a group of bat will drop down whenever you press a switch (once they are all killed you must go two zones away and come back again). Each bat drops about 3K experience, so with Embroidered Tippet you'll level up very quickly.
It's overall easier than the original, but for many people that's not a bad thing. It means you don't need to min/max your party choices and can just pick whatever you like for your characters, without screwing you out of completing the story and all of the optional content (including all superbosses).
The Best Job for Each Character. Vaan - Considered the jack of all trades but also has a higher than normal HP. Suggest jobs for him would be the Shikari, Uhlan, Knight, or Foebreaker. Balthier - Has a great combo speed. Suggested jobs would be melee ones such as Ulhan, Bushi, or Shikari.
