FAQs
A cusp sign is someone who is born toward the end of a zodiac sign's season—you know, on the cusp between your Sun sign and the one that follows it. In order to fully understand how cusp signs work, though, it's important to understand decans.
Cusps, in popular understanding, are the days bordering the sun's transition into a new sign. For example, those born between February 16 and 21 may consider themselves on the Aquarius-Pisces cusp, like my mom. Or if you were born between June 18 and June 24, you'd be on the Gemini-Cancer cusp.
Rather than technically being born under two signs, people on a cusp are unique individuals whose date of birth blends the traits and energies of two distinct signs to create a separate astrological personality with blended qualities. There can only be a cusp if both signs overlapped during the day a person was born.
Pisces (♓︎) (/ˈpaɪsiːz/; Ancient Greek: Ἰχθύες Ikhthyes, Latin for fishes) is the twelfth and final astrological sign in the zodiac. It is a mutable sign. It spans 330° to 360° of celestial longitude. Under the tropical zodiac, the sun transits this area between February 19 and March 20.
