There are 12 houses, each associated with a specific zodiac sign and planetary ruler. The first house represents the self, while the second house relates to personal possessions and finances. The third house pertains to communication and siblings, while the fourth house represents home and family.
We follow the sections, or Houses, and on the right side of the horizon line at the Descendent, we start to make our way to the top of the chart. Finally, we conclude the cycle with the Twelfth House, the section that borders the Ascendant to the north.
The 12th house, also sometimes called the House of Unconscious, is ruled by Pisces and the planets Jupiter and Neptune.
These signs roughly correspond to the astronomical constellations with the following modern names: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.
The twelfth sector is ruled by spiritual and self-sacrificing Neptune, the planet of unconditional love and planetary patron of the arts, and the sign Pisces.
